ABOUT THE MISSION:
The Patriot Guard has been invited by the family of MGySgt George Hilbert Stills, United States Marine Corps, to stand in his honor and escort him to Holy Cross Cemetery. MGySgt Stills served in the United States Marine Corps for 27 years and was honorably retired in November 1994. His numerous awards and decorations include the Purple Heart Medal (2nd Awd), Meritorious Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal (2nd Awd), Good Conduct the Medal (9th Awd), Combat Action Ribbon, Navy Achievement Medal, Meritorious Mast (2nd Awd), Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Navy Unit Commendation, Meritorious Unit Commendation (2nd Awd), Navy Commendation Medal, Vietnam Service Medal (2nd Awd), Vietnam Commendation Medal w/1960 Device, Republic of Vietnam Meritorious Unit Citation (Gallantry Cross Medal w/Color Palm, Republic of Vietnam Meritorious Unit Citation(Civil Action Medal 1st Class Color w/Palm, and the Presidential Unit Citation.Services will be at Talbert Chapel A.M.E. Church 421 West La Rua St, Pensacola, Fl. Military honors to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Pensacola, Fl.
