PGR & Son-in-law Jerry Jelinek and The family of WWII Veteran George H. Peterson, 87, have requested and invited the PGR to participate in his funeral service on Thursday, May 02, 2013, at Apfel Funeral Home, 1123 W 2nd St, Grand Island, 308-384-0590. The PGR will stand a Flag Line prior to the 10:30am service and following the service during the Military Honors presentation.

Veteran Staff Sargent George H. Peterson, 87, served in USAF from February 19, 1944 to his Honorable Discharge on April 12, 1946. SSgt Peterson served in England and the Tinian Islands as a bombardier in the 39th Squadron, 6th bomb unite wing 313.
