Hero Chapman was born and grew up in Dallas County\, MO and served his country during the Korean War. He married in 1955 and they raised their family in Greene and Webster Counties. He was preceded in death by his wife Ramona\, and is survived by one daughter and one son\, six grandchildren\, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
