ABOUT THE MISSION:
It is a most distinct honor and privilege for the Patriot Guard Riders to stand a flag line of honor and respect for United States Navy WWII Veteran George E. Rauch (96) just as he once stood for every one of us. Seaman 3rd Class Rauch proudly served as a Signalman aboard the USS Richard Bull and USS Curtiss in the Pacific Theater. Veteran Rauch’s awards include the American-Asia Commendation, the Aviatic Pacific Commendation and Victory Medal among others. We are honored to stand for this member of the Greatest Generation and true American Hero.
