George Dworshak honorably served his country in the US Army from 1942-1946, when he was discharged as a Corporal Tech 5. George is a WWII Veteran. George’s area of expertise both in the Army as well as in civilian life was as a mechanic. In his younger years, George loved riding his Indian motorcycles. George recently passed at the age of 101 years. Surviving George are one son and two daughters, 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held for George at the Prescott VA Chapel on May 21 at 10 AM . His family has asked PGR to stand a flag line in honor of George’s service to his country at the memorial service.

DIRECTIONS TO VA CHAPEL FROM PHOENIX:
> Take 1-17 North to Cordes Junction/Highway 69 exit (Prescott). Follow Highway 69 to Prescott (you will go through Mayer, Dewey and Prescott Valley and then to Prescott).
> As you approach the Prescott Resort (on right with neon sign, just after you pass the Frontier Village shopping center that will be on your left) get in the far right hand lane.
> After the stoplight by the Prescott Resort bear right to get on Highway 89N (towards Chino Valley).
> As soon as you bear right, get in the left-hand lane and turn left across Highway 89 at the stoplight to enter the VA Medical Center Grounds.
> As you enter the grounds, go straight to the first stop sign; continue to the right at the stop sign; the VA Chapel will be on your right; motorcycle parking will be on the right side of the street in front of the VA Chapel; car/truck parking will be immediately in the parking lot across from the VA Chapel on your left side.
