Among his assignments\, he spent  time in Germany.\nAt the conclusion of World War Two\, Gene joined up with The 1244th  Transportation/Maintenance Division\, Illinois National Guard\, North  Riverside Armory\, where he spent many years as a mechanic.\nHe also married and raised a family. This family has asked the Presence  of The Patriot Guard to honor him during his visitation\, funeral\, and  burial.\nGene’s son Don has been a lifelong friend of SRC bigDave Gier. \nPRIMARY STAGING DETAILS:  22 Apr 2017\n \n\n\n\nPrimary Staging Time:  8:30 A.M.\n\nSts.
