Gene Allen proudly served in the U S Army from June 1\, 1988 to May 10\, 1998.  He served in Germany as a Combat Engineer.  His rank was PVT 2\, and he received the Army Service Ribbon\, Sharpshooter Qualification Badge M-16 Rifle\, Qualification Badge Hand Grenade\, Overseas Service Ribbon and an Honorable Discharge.
