ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of Gayton Wiley Holmes has requested the Patriot Guard stand and ride for him. I have informed the family that it will be our honor. Gayton Holmes served in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve from June 1952 until his honorable release in June 1960. We will stand a flag line for the arrival of family and friends from 11:30 am until the beginning of the Memorial Service scheduled for 12:30 pm. At the conclusion of the Memorial Service we will escort Mr. Holmes and family from the Woodstock Funeral Home, Woodstock, Georgia to the Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, Georgia. KSU scheduled for 1:30 pm. We will also stand a flag line for the service at GNC scheduled for 2:30 pm.
