ABOUT THE MISSION:
The Patriot Guard has been invited by the family of YN3 Gayle H. Freeman, United States Navy, to stand in his honor and escort him to Barrancas National Cemetery. YN3 Freeman served honorably in the United States Navy for three years and six months.He was discharged on 29 January 1960. Honors will be at Barrancas National Cemetery.

Naval Air Station requires long sleeve shirts, long fingered gloves, DOT approved helmets, leather boots covering the ankles and appropriate eye protection while riding on board the base.

09:00 am – Meet Freeman family and Trahan Family Funeral Home at NAS Main Gate
09:30 am – Honors at Barrancas National Cemetery Site B

May family and friends find strength in acknowledgement that Gayle H. Freeman, having served this nation honorably, was willing to sacrifice all that another might taste or maintain liberty and stood courageously where few dared tread and for such dedication to nation, duty, and service rendered, is so remembered and honored among patriots.
