Jones\, Sr. has requested the Patriot Guard to stand in honor of their loved one.  Mr. Jones was in the US Marine Corps during WWII and served in the Battle of the Consolidation of the Solomon Islands\, New Georgia Islands\, and the Emirau Island.  His Service was in the Southwest Pacific for 2 years.  Other awards and commendations are unknown at this time.
