US ARMY Vietnam Veteran

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Patriot Guard Riders, the family of United States Army Veteran Gary Porter has asked us to stand for him at his memorial service, as well as during the rendering of Military Honors at his grave side service.
Gary enlisted 18 AUG 1967 and served in Vietnam as a wireman until his Honorable discharge 10 AUG 1968. During his tour Gary earned The National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.
MISSION PLAN: PGR will provide a flag line at the Memorial Ceremony in Vancouver. Then our Hero will be taken via Rolling Honor Guard to Willamette National Cemetery where he will receive his well-deserved Military Honors and be laid to rest.
A Rolling Honor Guard will be provided from the family home to the service location; then from the service location to the cemetery.

1000 – Service begins; flag line fades away. Rolling Honor Guard stays behind to lead the family to Willamette National Cemetery.
