ABOUT THE MISSION:

Gary White retired from the US Army, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant. He trained as a Cannon Crewman and a Motor Transport Operator, spending time in Vietnam along the way. Awards include National Defense Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 4 stars, Army Commendation Medal, two Overseas Service Bars, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross Unit Citation with Palm, Good Conduct Medal x5, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon x2, NCO Professional Development Ribbon x2, Army Achievement Ribbon, Sharpshooter (M16), and the Republic of Vietnam Civil Actions Medal. After the Army he worked at Tyson foods as a security officer until retirement. He enjoyed dirt track racing and spending time at the lake. He is survived by 1 brother, 2 sisters, numerous extended family and friends.

KSU: 11:50 am for escort to the Trinity Baptist Church, Hwy 75, south of Marked Tree. Ride is 112 miles at highway speeds.
Upon arriving at Marked Tree we will take a short break to flag up before moving along to the church.
