The family of Gary ‘Coach’ Marriott has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to stand in honor of their loved One.
Gary served in the United States Marine Corps from 27 April, 1970 to 26 January 1973. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp Airborne serving from 1970-1973 in Vietnam, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, Philippines, Greece, Turkey Crete, Azores & Spain as a Parachutist and Field Radio Operator. Upon leaving the Marine Corps, he served as the City Administrator for the city of Eldon and the coach for the Eldon High School. He received the National Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal/1 and a Good Conduct Medal. He was also a founding member of the Noble Eagles Charity Organization. The family has requested a flag line at the service of their loved one on Sunday, June 12 from 2 pm (1400 hrs) to 5 pm (1700 hrs) at the Eldon Middle School 1400 North Grand Avenue, Eldon, MO 65026. Full Military Honors will be rendered during the services. This is a flag line request only.
