ABOUT THE MISSION:

Served from 1982-1984 in the Airborne Infantry as a Paratrooper. He also served in the Army Reserves from 1984-1988. Gary served in Panama, Honduras, and El Salvador. Gary was also a Police Officer for 27 years, serving in Bowie, Graham, Grayson Co., Saint Jo, Muenster, Cook County Sheriffs, Archer City, Archer County Sheriffs, Jacksboro, and then retired from Breckenridge.

We will arrive at the Church and start putting up static flags at 12:45, hopefully getting them all up before the family arrives.
At the start of the service we will take down the flags, put them in the support vehicle where they can be taken to the cemetery.
At this time I will need a few bikes to remain at the church for the procession and everyone else will go with the support vehicle to help put up flags at the Cemetery.

Elmwood Cemetery

Interment Service: 2:15 pm
Briefing Time: 2:45
In Position/KSU Time: 3pm
Starting Time: 3:20pm
Upon arrival at the cemetery, we will put up flags around the perimeter of the grave site, then await the arrival of the funeral procession.
It’s a possibility that the Army Honor Guard will not make it. If not, the PGR will be providing those services.
Once the service is over,  start taking down the flags to return them to the support vehicle, furl and stow them away.
After a quick debrief you will be dismissed.
