ABOUT THE MISSION:

Gary Lee Berzill 71 of Wausau, WI Passed away Friday June 19th, 2020 with family by his side. Gary was born September 26th, 1948 in Wausau. Gary was a Veteran of the Vietnam War and served in Vietnam from 68-74 with the 7th Cav Airborne Assault then from 1974-1984 he was still active duty stateside. During these time frames he was with the 7th Airborne Assault. He achieved a ranking of E7. He earned the Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross, a Bronze Star, and the Army Air Medal (9). After discharge from active duty in 1984 he joined the Army National Guard until full retirement in 1996.

Staging at Bull Falls for those riding is 10:00 a.m.
Staging at King for those not riding is 12:00 noon
We will not be indoors in proximity to family or visitors.
The Ride Captain may present the plaque and dog tags to the family privately. No other members will assist or attend.
ALL members MUST wear a face mask over mouth and nose at all times from the time they dismount or leave their vehicle until they depart. Failure to follow this will result in being asked to leave the mission.
We ask that the family and friends maintain a safe distance of 8 – 10 feet at all times (therefore we cannot line the immediate entry area or open doors).
We may participate in an escort maintaining a safe distance.
We may pre-establish a flag line at the burial / interment site not less than 20 feet away from the expected family and friends area and not closer than 10 feet from an adjacent flag.I ask each member to make sure they have a mask with them at all times as well as hand sanitizer and possibly gloves (laundered between each mission). I am personally ordering white band gloves as we have provided for the military at times. Each member must consider the potential consequences without feeling any pressure to attend if you feel it unsafe for you or your family.

If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.
