ABOUT THE MISSION:
Gary Helcamp went into the United States Air Force Reserve on April 7, 1967 and spent six years as a SSgt directing Flight Facilities Equipment Maintenance Techs with the Air National Guard until April 6, 1973 when he left Ellington AFB. He received the following awards; Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon, Air Reserve Meritorious Service Medal Ribbon and the TSFM Unit citation. Obituary [1]
