He proudly served in the US Army from 1974-1975 and was honorable discharged after becoming disabled while stationed at Ft. Lewis. He was awarded the National Defense Medal. He did a variety of jobs following his discharge. Gary was 62 at his passing after a brave fight. He is survived by his wife and 2 children\, 1 step daughter\, 4 sisters and his grandchildren which he loved very much. He was an avid and lifelong Seahawks fan and loved his 1967 Chevelle. Apparently our Hero was very proud of his service and according to his daughter he wanted “it all” for his funeral. She is excited to have us present for Gary and the family.
