ABOUT THE MISSION:

We have been invited by the family to stand in Honor of Sgt. Gary A. Dunhoft, 71. Sgt. Dunhoft proudly joined the United States Marine Corps to serve his country during the Vietnam War. He was a true hero as he served 3 tours in Vietnam from 1967 – 1971. During this time he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal w/device, Vietnam Campaign Medal w4*, Purple Heart receipt, Combat Action Ribbon (Vietnam), Meritorious Unit Commendation, RVN Cross of Gallantry w/palm, and the Rifle Marksmanship Badge. Gary had a great heart and loved his family and being with them. He loved to hunt and fish. He was very selfless and often put others before himself. Two-day mission.
