DESCRIPTION:Honor Mission\nFredrick Howell \, Veteran\nUSA – \, WWII\nSpringfield\, Missouri – 09-27-19\n\n\n\n\nABOUT THE MISSION: \nUSAAC SGT Frederick Howell served honorably and proudly from 1943 to 1945. Hero Howell was trained as a tail gunner and flew 25 missions on a B17 called Jimbo’s Circus. Hero Howell was born 23 March 1925 in Canton Missouri. After his military service he attended school to become a school counseling. He then worked in the Springfield\, Mo and Canton\, Il school districts. On his retirement he moved back to the Springfield area.
