MISSION NARATIVE:
Frank Parente proudly served our nation in the US Air Force on active duty from October of 1950 until July 1953, then spending another four years with the Air National Guard. Stationed in Alaska throughout the Korean War, Frank flew his fighter jet on what his unit referred to as “The Picket Line” patrolling the skies near the Bering Strait. Prior to leaving the Air Force Frank obtained the rank of Captain. Following his service, he became a Bank Examiner for the United States Federal Reserve and raised a family. He was also a proud member of the American Legion Post 1005.
