ABOUT THE MISSION:

Mr. Cortez served his Country in the United States Army from 1954-1956 and attained the rank of Private First Class. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. Mr. Cortez spent an additional 6 years in the United States Army Reserves.

After the mission briefing, we’ll stand our flag line during the arrival of family and friends.
Our certificate will be presented prior to the start of the Service.
When the Service begins, flags will be returned to the Support vehicle.
Riders not taking part in the procession will be encouraged to move to the cemetery for Part 2.
Procession Riders will be given the safety briefing and await departure of the procession.
Please bring your mask to wear as appropriate.

Starting Time: 1pm
After the mission briefing at the visitor’s center, honor bikes, if needed, will move to the staging lanes.
All other Riders will move to the shelter and set the flags. We’ll then stand our flag line in honor of his Service to our Country.
At the conclusion of the Service, flags will be returned to storage, and the Riders will be debriefed and dismissed.
Please bring your mask to wear as appropriate.
