ABOUT THE MISSION:
Master Sergeant Francis Vernon Manigault, USAF (Retired) was born July 13, 1959 and joined the United States Navy on June 2, 1981. After serving 4 years in the Navy as an Operations Specialist, he separated from the military, only to enlist later in the United States Air Force. He finished his career in the Air Force, retiring as a Master Sergeant in 2014. Mr. Manigault loved to read and work on cars, and after his military career, he went to work for the Department of Homeland Security in the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), where he worked until April of this year. This is a multi-stage, multi-day, multi-city mission.

After the 5:30 briefing, we will stand a flag line for arrival of family and friends and for the duration of visitation, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. At the conclusion of visitation, we will stand down.

After the 10:00 briefing, we will stand a flag line for arrival of family and friends until the church service begins at 11:00 am. Once the service begins, we will stand down until such time as military honors are presented. We will then render honors and stand down at the conclusion of the church service.

Staging will be in the usual location for missions at the back committal shelter. After the 11:30 briefing, we will stand a flag line for arrival of the funeral procession for the 12:00 pm service, rendering honors as the procession passes. The flag line will remain in place for the duration of the service and again render honors when military honors are presented.
