We have been requested by the family of USMC Vietnam Veteran Francis E. Bell Sr. to stand a flag line for the dignified transfer and to escort Mr. Bell and his family to Sampson National Cemetery for interment with full military honors.

Mission Narrative:

Mr. Bell was severely injured in Vietnam, he lost his left leg along with multiple wounds including a bayonet wound to his abdomen. That did not stop him from having a full and active life. Francis was a life member of the DAV (Disabled American Veterans) and the VVA (Vietnam Veterans Association) where he was a Chapter President. Mr. Bell was also a Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 53 of King Ferry NY.

Mr. Bell’s military commendations include the Purple Heart, The Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Medal and the National Defense Medal.

Mr. Bell devoted nearly his entire life to his family, his community and this great nation.

Please do what you can to come and thank this great veteran and his family for what he has done for us all!
