DESCRIPTION:Honor Mission\nFrancis Darrell Pope\, Retired\, Veteran\nUSA – Vietnam\nLawton\, Oklahoma – 09-03-19\n\n\n\nABOUT THE MISSION: \nFriends of Francis Darrell Pope\, US Army\, Vietnam Veteran\, retired\, have asked the Patriot Guard to stand in honor of their fallen Hero. 1SGT Pope has no known living family. 1SGT Francis Darrell Pope started his military February 11\, 1974 and completed his career July 15\, 1995. 1SGT Pope was a Sr. Sup Sgt. His last duty station was SP BTRY 1st AIT\, Fort Sill \, Ok. ( TRADOC). 1SGT Pope received the following medals and ribbons: National Defense Service Medal (2 awards)\, PRCHT Badge\, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal w/60 dev\, Vietnam Service Medal\, PUC\, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry w/palm\, Bronze Star\, Silver Star\, 2 O/S Bars\, 6 SVC Stripes\, Good Conduct Medal (4th award)\, AFEM ( Korea)\, Expert Rifle Badge M-14 & M16.
