The mission is a ‘go’ and all contacts have been made. \nMr. Darris was a Vietnam veteran having served as a Fire Protection Specialist in the Air Force. He supported the war effort as a Sergeant while stationed in Thailand\, receiving the National Defense Service Medal\, Vietnam Service Medal\, the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal\,   Air Force Commendation Medal and Air Force Good Conduct Medal. He also served as Quartermaster for VFW Post #7782 in Clarendon\, Texas.  Following his service\, he made his mark as a new and used car dealer for more then 46 years.  Mr. Darris was an active member of Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Pittsburg. \nMemorial Service:  11:00 AM Saturday\, August 6th at\nFellowship Missionary Baptist Church\n992 FM 1520\nPittsburg\, Texas. \nThis will be a FLAG LINE ONLY.  The American Legion Honor Guard will be presenting the honors. \nStaging:\n992 FM 1520\nPittsburg\, Texas from 9:15 to 9:30 AM  with a riders meeting at 9:30. \nAll new members are requested to sign a PGR Release of Liability prior to Flag Line.
