ABOUT THE MISSION:
The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in honor of Mr. Francis B. Turner at his celebration of life service and we are honored to do so. Mr. Turner was a WWII veteran and was awarded the American Campaign Medal, European/African Campaign Medal, Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal, Philippine Liberation Ribbon, 2 Bronze Stars, WWII Victory Medal and a Good Conduct Medal.
He was a lifetime member of The American Legion, VFW, and DAV and has raised a lot of money for these organizations and Camp Corral. Mr. Turner was featured at the DAV Convention last year and has made several appearances on television as well as having been interviewed by many newspapers including the Gainesville Times. Mr. Turner enjoyed public speaking and over the last decade has addressed many school children at their assemblies.

We will stand a flag line as people arrive until the start of service then break until after the service when we will form a flag line going into the fellowship hall as they leave the sanctuary.
