Francis Arrington Antone, Jr. served in the United States Army from 1967 till 1969, serving in Vietnam as an Infantryman with the 82nd Airborne. He then joined the United States Marine Corps in 1971 and served until 1974 as a with the 7th Marines. He was awarded the National National Defense Service Medal Vietnam Service Medal Vietnam Campaign Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Rifle Marksmanship Badge
