Fort Gordon POW-MIA Recognition Day Ceremony

ABOUT THE MISSION:
The POW and MIA Recognition Day is a time for all to pause and recognize the sacrifices Americans have endured in the name of “Freedom and Democracy,” and a time to remember those who were prisoners of war as well as the fate of over 80,000 Americans still missing in action.
The Patriot Guard Riders have been asked to stand a flag line for the Fort Gordon POW-MIA Recognition Day Ceremony and it is our honor to accept this invitation.

Special Instructions:
We will proceed from the staging location to Ft. Gordon for the ceremony which routinely last about 30 minutes.
Be prepared to go on Ft. Gordon. Have your driver’s license and proof of insurance available in case they are asked for by MP/Security. The following gear is required to enter post with PGR: reflective/hi-visibility vest or gear, eye protection, over the ankle foot gear, long sleeves, full finger gloves and no weapons.
Other veteran groups are invited to ride in with us as long as they conform to all requirements established by the ride captain for the ride and entering the installation.
