The family of AE-2 (E5) Floyd Wayne Rodgers has requested the Patriot Guard stand a flag line in his honor during Military Honors at Barrancas National Cemetery.
AE-2 Rodgers served honorably in the U.S. Navy for 13 years and 5 months. He was released from active duty on 30 Sep 1991. His awards include the Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal w/device, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, and National Defense Service Medal. He was also a member of the Blue Angles Team.
He is survived by his son, Michael Rogers and daughter Amada Gross.
Arrangements are in the care of Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton, Fl.
The Patriot Guard will remain in place at Barrancas National Cemetery Shelter “B” after the service in part one of this mission and await the arrival of AE-2 Rogers, family and friends.
