PATRIOT GUARD RIDERS:

This is the final itinerary for the Patriot Guard Mission in Fort Worth Texas to honor Ssgt Eric Caban who gave his all in southern Afghanistan, on July, 19, 2006. Services are Saturday, July 29, 2006 at 1000hrs at the University Christian Church 2720 S University Dr. Fort Worth Texas, 76109.

Your Ride Captains for this mission are E.R. Stroud (Wingman) and Tim Bohannon (RoadTrip) . If you have questions call Wingman at 214-499-0123.

Weather will be Texas Hot from 95 to 101 degrees. Iron Horses if you can. Bring flag poles and flags if you have them: Flags on bikes would be great, but if you’re in a cage, bring your big flags and any extras that you have. Glennys will be driving the support vehicle with water and the 40 flag that we have.

Staging Time & Site will be from 0830 to 0915 hrs in the 1600 block of S University, at the University Park Village Shopping Center, South West corner of S University & Old University Dr.
It does not matter if you are going East bound or West bound on I-30, take the University Dr. exit and turn right onto south bound University Dr. to the staging area.

Departure time (KSU) from the staging area to the church is at 0930 hrs. All bikes will present a uniform appearance as we ride approximately 1 and 1/2 miles from the staging area to the church in a staggered formation.

Please remember that our mission is to respect and honor this fallen soldier and his family. Stand tall and silent as we salute this hero and his family for their great sacrifice!!!

DoD Identifies Army Casualty
The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was
supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.

Staff Sgt Eric Caban, 28, of Fort Worth, Texas, died on July 19 in southern
Afghanistan of injuries sustained when his combat reconnaissance patrol came
in contact with enemy forces using small arms fire during combat operations on
July 18. Caban was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 7th Special Forces Group
(Airborne), Fort Bragg, N.C.
