LCpl Felix Franklin Perkins, Veteran

ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Patriot Guard Riders have been asked to stand for US Marine Lance Corporal Felix Franklin Perkins (72). LCpl Perkins was born in Dehli, Louisiana 13 February 1947. He served for 4 years 21 days as a heavy equipment operator, including 2 tours in Vietnam with a voluntary extension. Awards include National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Rifle Markmanship Badge and M-14 Sharpshooter Badge. After his service he continued as a heavy equipment operator working for several different contractors until his retirement. He was a member of The American Legion Post 58 in Texarkana. He loved to spend time in his garden and with his family. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, 3 sons, 1 daughter, 2 sisters, 15 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. Please join in standing for one who so proudly stood for us.
