ABOUT THE MISSION:
Ladies and Gentlemen of the Patriot Guard Riders, we have been invited to participate in the transfer of the Alaska Airlines Fallen Hero Cart. The NWWA and SWWA PGR will accompany the cart as it proceeds from Seattle, WA to Gladstone, OR. From there, NW OR PGR volunteers, and other organizations will accompany the cart to Central Point, OR where the lead will be handed off to those accompanying the cart as it proceeds to Ontario, CA. This special cart will be joined by the riders of the Run for the Wall group, and will travel to Dallas Texas where it will be donated by the Alaska Airlines Employees group to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport for use at the airport for all Honorable transfers, regardless of the airline.
Join us as we ride with this very specially built Honorable Transfer Cart, designed to Honor our Fallen Heroes who are transported by commercial airlines as it provides a safe protected means to Honorably transfer our Hero’s remains to their final resting places as well as ensuring dignity and privacy for the Hero’s families. Everyone is welcome to ride a portion of or the entire trip.
