ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of Everett William Heath, age 62, has invited The Patriot Guard Riders to Stand in Honor of his service to our Country. He passed away peacefully at home March 26th. Mr. Heath proudly served his first tour of duty in the United States Army from 1986 to 1994 where he was a Parachutist in the Airborne 425th Infantry Division and was Honorably Discharged in 1994. He rejoined US Army National Guard in 2000 as a radio operator, motor transport operator at Fort McCoy. In 2004 he was called to active duty for Operation Iraqi Freedom as a motor transport operator. He was promoted to SSG and received his 2nd Honorable Discharge in 2006. He received numerous ribbons and medals. He was a Member of the Patriot Guard Riders in Michigan. He earned recognition from Great Lakes National Cemetery for his commitment to the Avenue of Flags. He had an award given to him from the Society of Sons of American Revolution, he was a member of VFW and American Legion and a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. He was also a member of the American Red Cross. He was an avid bicyclist. He is survived by his wife, 3 sons, 3 daughters, 7 Grandchildren, nieces and nephews and extended family. Obit:Link
