ABOUT THE MISSION:
Patriot Guard Riders have been requested by the family of U.S. Army Veteran, Everett Neal Stevens to participate with a flag line at the funeral and grave side service in Milton Freewater, Oregon. Mr. Everett served as a truck mechanic from October 1957 until April, 1958, followed by U.S. Army Reserve duty until September 1964. Please join us as we pay our respects and honor his service to our nation.

Completed Mission Report:, Everett N. Stephens, Milton Freewater, Oregon , 10 May, 2019. U.S. Army 1957-1958 Active, Reserve, 1964, Five Patriot Guard Riders came from La Grande and Cove OR and joined by Assistant Washington Ride Captain East “Stretch” and five Riders plus Tom and Peggy from Touchet and “Tri-Cities” Washington met on a beautiful, warm sunny day in the little Columbia River town on the boarder of Washington and Oregon to pay final tribute to U.S. Army veteran, farmer and truck driver, Everett Stephens. The Riders provided escort on the way to the city cemetery and stood a flag line at the graveside service, as family and friends found shade and comfort during the activity. It was obvious that Mr. Stephens left a lasting memory with his life, service and many contributions those he left behind.
