ABOUT THE MISSION:

Erwin D. Long left us on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 100 years young. Erv was a resident of Sun City, AZ but is coming home to join his wife of 64 years. Erv proudly served in the United States Marine Corps with multiple conflicts in the Pacific. He was eventually with Pacific Command 2nd Engr Bn, 2nd Marine Div. He belonged to the Second Marine Div. Assoc. & American Legion Member for 69 yrs. Though it took some coaxing he finally took an Honor Flight to Washington 3 years ago and we welcomed him home.

I extend my most heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Erwin D. Long, USMC WWII Veteran. During this most difficult time, I pray you peace. I will forever be grateful for his service, sacrifice, and dedication to our country. Rest easy now, Sir…those you have left behind to carry on without you have the watch.
