ABOUT THE MISSION:
Ernesto Hernandez was a United States Air Force veteran. He proudly served his country in the National Guard during WWII and was called from inactive duty to active duty US Air Force from 1951 to 1954. After training as teletype specialist Ernesto Hernandez served one year and one month overseas. He attained the rank of Airman third class and left the service at Williams Air Force Base, Arizona. Ernesto Hernandez was released from active duty and honorably discharged in November 1954. While in the service of his country Ernesto Hernandez earned the Korean service medal; Asiatic Pacific Area; American Theatre; United Nations service medal; Victory medal WWII. It is our honor to stand as we show respect and gratitude to this hero’s sacrifices for this nation.
