Ladies and Gentleman of the Patriot Guard Riders,
We have been asked to stand a flag line only mission at a celebration of life for WWII Veteran Ernest Capdeville, US Navy, this Saturday, August 6th 2016 in Edgewood. PO2 Capdeville was a Belly gunner on a Navy PBY airplane in the pacific from 1942 to 1946. At this time I have no information from his DD214 about ribbons/medals. This unfortunate passing was at the ripe age of 91. He was married to his wife for 65 years and for 40 of those years took care of his wife who was wheelchair bound with MS. unfortunately, she passed away two months ago at age 86. They were planning a celebration of life for her and then he passed away two months later. This is a very sad day for the family. They are survived by two daughters and one son. Please come and stand the line with me as we celebrate their life and show Honor and Respect for his service and their sacrifice for our Country.
