ABOUT THE MISSION:
CW02 Eric Compton was proud to have served in The United States Marine corps; he joined the elite group in 2003 and was an active service member until his passing. Many lifelong friendships were formed during his several tours of duty in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. After the Mission Brief, the Riders will establish the Flag Line and await the arrival of CW02 Compton, family and friends. When directed, the Riders will return the flags to the support vehicle, be debriefed and dismissed.

After the Mission Briefing four honor bikes will be identified and moved to the funeral home staging area. The remainder of the Riders will line up as directed by the ride captain and prepare for the procession to DFW National Cemetery. Escort Provided.

Riders will stage at the Information Center for the Mission Briefing from Ride Captain, Jim Anderson. After the briefing, riders will proceed to the designated shelter to set flags and await the arrival of the procession. Riders will stand tall and silent until the MRC indicates flags be returned to the storage locker/vehicle after which riders will be debriefed and dismissed.

Mission Accomplished! The arrival and interment portions of the mission were completed as planned. Riders honored CW02 Compton and stood the line for his family as they deal with this terrible loss. It was an honor to be requested by the family as they deal with yet another 22kill in the family. May they all find peace in the coming months.
