ABOUT THE MISSION:

Brothers and Sisters of the PGR and Friends, it is with a heavy heart that I come to you today with a call to once again stand silent and proud for one who stood for us. We will answer this call as always, with Honor and Respect. MSgt Ephram Eddie Burris proudly served our country in the USMC for over 24 years before retiring in 1987 as a Master Sargent. During MSgt Burris career he earned numerous medals and awards to include the Vietnam Service Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, Presidential Unit Citation, Navy Unit Commendation Medal, Republic Of Vietnam Meritorious Unit Citation, Cross of Gallantry w/ palm, Sea Service Ribbon, Good Conduct (9th award), National Defense Service Medal, etc… We have been asked to stand a flag line in honor of MSgt Burris for the visitation, to be held on Tuesday the 12th of March 2019 from 5-8 PM. We have also been requested to stand a flag line for the funeral service to be conducted on Wednesday the 13th of March 2019 at 12:30 PM, and provide an escort for MSgt Burris as he completes his final mission .
