Dapron Jr.\, Veteran\nUSMC\, USMCR – WWII\, Korea\nWarrenton\, Missouri – 08-22-19\n\n\n\nABOUT THE MISSION: \nThe Patriot Guard has been honored by the family of Elmer Dapron\, 94\, by requesting we stand a flag line and escort their loved one to the hallowed grounds of Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Mr. Dapron served our great nation both in WWII and Korea as a U.S.Marine seeing combat on Iwo Jima and in Korea\, the Inchon Landing and Chosin Reservoir. In 1954 Mr Dapron took a contract with a British agency and as a result the Queen of England sent Lord Kitchner to St. Louis to Knight Sir Elmer Dapron. Mr.Dapron was a life member of the Marine Corps League and there will be a formal ceremony at visitation. Mr Dapron attended many PGR Marine funerals including Elrod and Pete where he would shake hands with the flag line.
