Elmer H. R. Lichte

Elmer Lichte, age 89, of Neillsville, WI died Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at the Memorial Health and Rehabilitation Center in Neillsville.

Elmer Heinrich Rudolph Lichte was born on November 12, 1919 on the family farm in the town of Grant, Clark County, Wisconsin. He enlisted into the United States Army and served in World War II in Germany as a medic. Upon his discharge he returned to the family farm and farmed his entire life. He was a member of the VFW and enjoyed talking about and working with tractors.

Funeral Services

Immediately after visitation at 11:00 a.m.,

After the funeral we will be escorting Elmer to his final resting place in the Town of Grant Cemetery with Military Rites accorded by the Neillsville Veterans Council.
