ABOUT THE MISSION:
At the age of 7, Ella came to her parents with the notion of helping Veterans. After some discussion, Ella and her parents agreed to a lemonade stand in front of their home. Her initial goal was to raise $250. To everyone’s surprise Ella did much better than that. The yearly event has grown so much, the lemonade stand had to be moved due to traffic in their neighborhood. Ella has attended numerous events in support of our veterans and active duty military personnel. If you attended one of the MMMF memorial events, and/or the 5k event in Jefferson Barracks Park in recent years, you might have met Ella, as she is a regular offering her support. The Patriot Guard was also invited to attend last year’s lemonade stand, which was a great event. Ella will have her lemonade stand at the Farm & Home store in Cottleville, MO. Ella and her parents have once again chosen our Missouri PGR as a recipient in 2019. It is an Honor to be chosen. Her proceeds the past few years have been several thousand dollars each year. Ella’s mother Suzanne, has invited the PGR to make an appearance at the Farm & Home store Saturday, August 3rd. Please do your best to attend and show your appreciation of Ella. It will be an honor to stand with this Patriotic young lady, while she works hard to support our veterans. The Patriot Guard will stage at 11:00 am at the Phillips 66 gas station, 6098 Mid Rivers Mall Dr, at the intersection of Mid Rivers Mall Dr. and Central School Rd. We will depart at 11:15 am and ride in as a group. We plan on arriving at 11:30 am, then visiting for an hour or so. The address of Farm & Home is 5995 Mid Rivers Mall Dr. Cottleville, MO 63304. A portion of our visit will include a very special presentation to Ella, by PGR RC Bob “Grampy” Griffith. Dismissal – 12:30 PM. CAGES are WELCOME.
