ABOUT THE MISSION:

SFC Elis A. Barreto Ortiz, 34, US Army (KIA), from Morovis, Puerto Rico, was killed on 5 Sep 2019, in Kabul, Afghanistan, when a vehicle borne IED detonated in a suicide attack.  SFC Barreto Ortiz was a paratrooper and Maintenance Control Sergeant with Co H, 82nd Brigade Support Battalion, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, out of Ft. Bragg, NC.  He is to be interred on the hallowed grounds of Arlington National Cemetery on 30 September 2019 at approximately 3:00 PM from the Memorial Gate.  PGR has been invited to attend the services by his family and we will be there to stand tall, silent and proud in honor of this US Army Combat Veteran, his family, friends and comrades at arms.
