ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of Eladio Saucedo has requested the Far West Texas Patriot Guard Riders to render honors for his interment. Services for Eladio Saucedo are entrusted to Hillcrest Funeral Home – East 1060 N. Carolina Drive El Paso, TX 79915. Eladio Saucedo served as a Fireman aboard the USS Bennington CV-20. The USS Bennington was used to escort American officers to the USS Missouri where the Japanese signed terms of unconditional surrender. After his service in the Navy, he worked for Magnolia Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Hurd Budweiser, and the age of 65 he earned his GED and became employed with the YISD as a school bus driver for special needs children.
