The family of Specialist Edward “BigEd” Schieber has requested the presence and participation of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Funeral Service and Inurnment of their Loved One.
Ed arrived at Ft Hood in 1983 where he served honorably as a Specialist in the 21st Evacuation Hospital until February of 1987. He served as quartermaster, chemical equipment repairman, power generator operator, automotive vehicle mechanic and wheeled vehicle trainer.
“Big Ed’s” Texas and Minnesota families have always been of the utmost importance to him. His most loved hobbies include riding motorcycles, camping, bowling, renaissance festivals, backyard BBQs, music, and dancing with his soul mate and best friend, Trudy Schieber.
