ABOUT THE MISSION:
Mr. Kohler, 73, served in the US Army from 1968 to 1973, and was an MP in Vietnam. He left the military as a Sergeant. He was an Austin Police Department officer from 1972 to 1996. After retiring from the APD he joined the Bastrop Sheriffs office as a deputy and served from 1997 to 2009.
