SUMMARY:Edward Harris Jr.\, 95\, USA
DESCRIPTION:“Honorable Discharge”\, a statement that brings credit to Veteran’s who answered the call. “Honorable Service” doesn’t do enough justice for a Veteran with four Bronze Stars awarded during WW II combat operations. Army Veteran Edward Harris was but a boy barely a man earning four Bronze Stars in combat engagements through out WW II. \nEdward was a proud member of the Booker T. Washington High School Class of 1938 as well as a member of Brown Chapel AME church where he served in various capacities. It was during this time that Edward met and married the love of his life Dora Talley; their union was blessed with four children and sharing a love of ballroom dancing. \nOur penance for this man’s Honorable and Faithful Service is one Saturday afternoon\, standing tall\, proud and silent as we together salute his sacrifices to this great country. \nMISSION DATE: Saturday\, July 23\, 2016 \nSTAGING: 0930 (9:30AM) \nBRIEFING: 0945 (9:45AM) \nLOCATION: Brown Chapel A.M.E.
