Honor Mission
Earl Ray Brown, Retired

ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of Earl Ray Brown has asked the PGR to participate in the funeral service for their loved one it will be our honor to do so. CSM (Ret) Brown served our country faithfully and honorably for over 30 years, to include a tour in Vietnam. He was highly decorated to include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star with Oak Leaf Cluster, Meritorious Service Medal with two Oak Leaf Clusters, and the Vietnam Service Medal. After retiring from active duty, CSM Brown continued to serve his country as a civil servant for 12 years at Fort Benning Georgia. Among his many accomplishments, he was recognized as the Army’s architect for CONUS Readiness Center design and missions and serving as the installation’s point for force modernization, anti-terrorism, mobilization, deployment and redeployment. CSM Brown stood for us for many a long cold night, now its time for us to stand for him.

After a short briefing, we will honor CSM Brown and his family with a flag line from 4 to 6 pm.

Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.

After a briefing, we will stand a flag line until the beginning of the service at 2 pm. After the service, we will accompany our hero and his family for interment with full military honors in Parkhill Cemetery (approximately 2 miles).
