DESCRIPTION:Honor Mission\nEarl Lindon Freeman\, Retired\nUSN\, USNR\nSpringfield\, Missouri – 07-02-19\n\n\n\n\nABOUT THE MISSION: \nThe family of USN\, STGCS Earl Lindon Freeman has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to provide an escort from the Walnut Lawn Funeral Home to the Missouri Veterans Cemetery and stand a flag line at his committal service where full military honors will be rendered.  Hero Freeman\, 81 years of age\, died June 21\, 2019\, in Springfield\, Missouri.  Hero Freeman enlisted in the United States Navy in June 1955 following graduation from Wardell High School and proudly and honorably served our country rising to the rank of Sonar Technician (Surface) Senior Chief Petty Officer (E-8).  His early records were not available to us\, but he achieved this rank in 1975. He was honorably discharged in August of 1977 and referred to Fleet Reserve.  He served a total of 22 and 1/2 years which included one year of foreign service.
