ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family requested the Patriot Guard Riders stand a flag line for United States Navy Veteran Earl Kenneth Gower, 74, and escort him to his final resting place at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with full Military Honors. Veteran Gower served in the US Navy, from June 1966 to March 1968, with 9 months aboard the USS Harwood (DD 861). Veteran Gower attained the rank of Seaman Apprentice (SA). Commendations received included the National Defense Service Medal. SA Gower, a grateful nation thanks you and is indebted to you for your honorable service. Your sacrifices have granted us the freedoms we continue to enjoy to this very day. Thank you and Godspeed.
